Experiment with sample flight data

The easiest way to start learning about Fsaver is to start viewing the sample data provided. Start Fsaver by clicking on the Fsaver shortcut on your start menu or desktop. A file selection box will appear. Browse to the file bin\C03.dat in your Fsaver folder. Double click on that file and a list of 67 flights will appear. Click on one of the flights and a flight display window will appear. Experiment with the flight display window by trying the following:

• Click on the trace labels to the far left to toggle traces on and off
• Left and right click on all the objects in the Fsaver window.
• Click and drag on the x and y axis tick labels (try both left and right buttons)
• Left or right click and drag in the plot area. (On and off the traces do different things).
• Double click and drag in the plot area
• Left/Right click on the Next tag to go to the succeeding/preceding flight
